The company employed more than 6,000 people at any given time, and his curriculum was the standard that reached all of them. Few people have shaped frontline senior-care training at that scale.
Today he is the founder of elumenEd, bringing dementia and Alzheimer's caregiver education to both healthcare organizations and families alike. Additionally, through his advisory practice, he continues to offer embedded consultation on employee education and workforce strategy to mid-sized senior living operators.
In 2026, he founded Rookstone Home Safety, which provides in-home safety assessments for older adults aging in place in and around Tucson, AZ. As a certified Senior Home Safety Specialist, Ben offers older adults and their families a clear analysis of critical home safety factors, giving them the information they need to live life more safely on their own terms.
